Product Description
Named after the famous historical city in Cuba and originally produced in 1969 as (allegedly) diplomatic gifts only and not for public consumption. These cigars have only been available to the public since 1998.
Until 2003 there was only 1 size in production, the Fundadores. They launched 3 new sizes in November of that year: the Reyes, Coloniales, and Robusto Extra. Trinidad cigars are typically nicely balanced in flavour, medium in strength, and sweetly aromatic.
Trinidad is named after the beautiful 16th Century city of La Santísima Trinidad (The Holy Trinity), listed by UNESCO as a historical monument, which is situated on Cuba’s south coast.
Trinidad cigars are made at the El Laguito factory – the home of Cohiba – to its own particular recipe of tobaccos selected from the Vuelta Abajo region.
Trinidad Cigars are “totalmente a mano, tripa larga” – totally hand made, long filler.
