Tatuaje Cigars

Product Description

Produced in the renowned My Father factory in Nicaragua, the Tatuaje brand was born as a collaborative effort between cigar mogul Pete Johnson and legendary Master roller Don José Pepin Garcia. Tatuaje made its name quickly after early blends received high ratings in Cigar Aficionado.

Currently available at City Cigar are selected vitolas from Tatuaje’s Havana VI series. Like most Tatuaje cigars, these smokes are blended with medium to full-bodied strength, using classic Cuban blending methods. They consist of Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos and a Habano Ecuadorian wrapper leaf.

Since 2004, the Tatuaje brand has been cited numerous times in Cigar Aficionado’s top 25 lists. This includes a vitola in the Havana VI series, the ‘Angeles’ (Corona size). In 2007, it was voted the 15th best cigar of the year with a 92 rating. The reviewer noted that the vitola was ‘crammed with strong black cherry, spice and leather, and the finish is a mile long.’ If popular opinion is to be trusted, this high level of quality and complexity can be expected from the Tatuaje brand as a whole.
