It’s said that everything is bigger in Texas, and that appears to include a Lancero-sized cigar as well – which usually tops out at a 38 ring gauge. Alec Bradley’s Texas Lancero nearly doubles that girth, measuring in at a massive 7″ x 70. Contrary to expectations, however, the Texas Lancero is surprisingly mild; its blend of Nicaraguan, Honduran, Indonesian and Costa Rican tobaccos could be described as downright delicate. Definitely a vitola to try for the adventurous, but be sure to give yourself a good two to three hours to finish it off!
